“I didn’t feel shy or embarrassed...I loved performing and had so much fun with the other women...If you met me before Mafwa Theatre, I would say no to everything. I never think I would be able to do all this…now I tell myself: You can do it!”
Evidence of Impact
Alongside our weekly Kuluhenna Drama sessions, we have delivered projects that support women and families in Lincoln Green. Read our Little Learners impact report to learn more about how providing early years childcare alongside Kuluhenna Drama helped children develop confidence through play while enabling mothers to take part in creative activities.
Free crèche provision has been made possible through support from the Flint Family Fund via Leeds Community Foundation.
