Flock

Flock: Short Stories from Women on the Move was the culminating commission of Mafwa Theatre's 2021 Associate Artist Programme. Created as part of Platforma 6, it brought together six short digital works by migrant artists based in Leeds.

Working alongside illustrators, animators, filmmakers and composers, each Associate Artist created an original piece responding to themes of movement and change. Together, the works explore experiences of identity, belonging, freedom and home through film, dance, illustration, music and poetry.

With thanks to Counterpoint Arts, Arts Council England, The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, East Street Arts and Leeds Inspired.
