Facilitation Training (Day 2)

The training will take place in Leeds from 10am - 3pm. Trainees must be able to attend all dates: 

Thursday 16th , Friday 17th & Thursday 23rd February.

  • Groups will be small to ensure a high quality learning experience.

3 day programme: £175

Bursary places are available for people with lived experience of seeking sanctuary and migration. To apply for a bursary place, prepare either a maximum 3-minute voice note  OR write a paragraph explaining why you are eligible for the bursary place and how the training programme will benefit you. Do you or people you work with have experience of migration? Would you like to run creative projects for people in your community?

Join Mafwa Theatre and their Associate Artists for a 3 day training programme focusing on the skills you need to run creative sessions with people who use English as an additional language.
By the end of the programme, you will: 
  • feel more confident to effectively and safely run creative sessions with people who have different English language abilities
  • have added some appropriate creative activities to your toolkit
  • have practised adapting your creative practice for sessions
  • Be aware of safeguarding considerations
